Last weekend I attended a horse training clinic by Clinton Anderson (left), a horse trainer from Australia. It is really interesting how much we can learn from trainers (teachers) regardless of what they are teaching or who (or what) they are teaching it to. One of Clinton's mantras is "make it easy for the horse to do the RIGHT thing and hard for the horse to do the wrong thing". We cannot MAKE students do the right thing. They still have self-will. But we can make it EASY to the do the right thing.
